A towel is essential—great for sitting or lying on. On sunny days, sunscreen is definitely a good idea as well. Besides that, you don’t need to bring much. Just leave the everyday rush behind and come as you are. At Athena, it’s all about freedom, relaxation, and being yourself.
Naturism is central at Athena, but that doesn’t mean you have to be naked at all times. If it’s chilly, raining, or you simply feel more comfortable wearing clothes, then of course, you can put something on.
In areas where naturism is naturally part of the experience, such as by the pool, we expect you to be nude when conditions allow. Different practical customs apply in the restaurant, where wearing clothes is permitted.
The most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and respects each other. This keeps the atmosphere relaxed, respectful, and fully in the spirit of Athena Naturism.
Privacy is very important to us at Athena. Therefore, never take photos or videos where other guests are clearly identifiable without permission. If you want to take someone’s photo, always ask for their consent first.
Smartphones, tablets and laptops are not allowed in the wellness area. Mobile phone calls and recording photos, videos or any other footage are also prohibited there.
Outside the wellness area, we ask you to use your phone and camera mindfully and respectfully.
Many people initially feel a bit self-conscious about their bodies. That’s completely normal. Especially within naturism, many find that this insecurity quickly fades into the background.
Everyone looks different, and that’s exactly how it should be. There’s much less focus on appearance, clothing, and comparison. This often creates a sense of freedom, equality, and relaxation.
You don’t have to fit any particular image. At Athena, it’s all about being yourself and enjoying naturism, nature, and peace in your own way.
Athena is a family campsite where calm, relaxation, and respect come first. Together, we make sure everyone feels safe and welcome.
